The logging spur will leave Occidental traveling north uphill above the MaQuire Creek
trestle. Around a bend through Camp Meeker above Dutch Bill Creek and the Camp Meeker
stop. Continuing around the hill to cross a makeshift, non-engineered logging trestle
leading to Streeton's Mill

Testing Shay on logging trestle.

This is the photograph used as the basis for the non-engineered logging trestle. It's
a great example of how backwoods loggers would get to their destination. This was a
Benson Logging Company switchback used to get a Shay locomotive where it needed to go.
